Androgyny, I have found in many cultures, evokes an unsettling feeling on viewers. I dig the slight disproportion of the arms. It makes this figure appear stuck out of time, like some kind of missing link.
In addition, the shadow doesn't seem to quite line up with this figure making me wonder if there isn't something more going on here. I'm not sure what, because I'm only a novice artist and lack a good understanding of visual art, but something about the misaligned shadow does invite me to think more about this drawing.
