Major Depressive Episode

Like anything, that is chiseled into stone,
there are lighter and darker areas to look upon.
Work at it and sit in front of your stone plate,
the sun, if there´s any, will make it´s way across the sky,
and the letters will appear in different ways.
The diagnosis will stay the same though,
don´t worry about that, and dr. psych will bag the money still.
You can only hope for nice weather and the greatfulness of nature,
that will change the guise of the surface that stone is enshrouded.
It may look nicer in some years, when it´s a bit dull,
later lichens and moss will have their stay on it.
The rain will hammer down on that unforgiving slab, untill bits and peaces break off.
The chiseled letters will be washed out and unreadable.
It sure might take a little time for all that pain and misery to be forgotten.
